Jer. 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the
Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not
to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

We hope that
2007 was a good year for everyone.
It was a year of many changes here on the farm, but we’ve made it
through and we are looking forward to an exciting 2008.
Among the changes
for 2008 I want to publish this quarterly newsletter to let people know
what is going on here and what we may have available in the farm
store.

|
|
And so it with
this that we wish everyone a fantastic New Year!! May it be full of peace and success in your
endeavors.

Last spring we picked up a small herd of
registered Angora does and a registered Angora
buck. We hope to start kidding
sometime in late February or early March.
Perhaps later as we had some trouble with our buck
being interested. We also
plan on getting some lambs from our Bluefaced
Leicester ewes. There will be
fleece available for purchase this spring.
We also hope to begin offering soaps, lotions and candles. We will be at a crafts fair in Missouri April 4th
and 5th

with our jewelry.
The boys hope to get bees started this
spring for honey and wax. And
hopefully we have the time to hit more rabbit shows with our Angoras and I
hope to add American Fuzzy Lops to the rabbitry.
I also hope to get back into Finches and
pick up two pairs of Gouldian Finches next month!
